Body Rider BRD2000 Elliptical Trainer with Seat

Body Rider BRD2000 Elliptical Trainer

The Body Rider BRD2000  is a dual fitness device that can be used as a standing or a seated elliptical trainer.

It has handlebars and foot pedals for upper and lower body workouts or you can use it while seated to focus your workout on your legs.

The seat is very comfortable and is horizontally and vertically adjustable just like in a stationary bike.

It’s a low impact machine which means your joints will be safe and fully protected from any long term damage. The ability to turn into a stationary bike makes it perfect for seniors too or for anyone who is recovering from an accident or has suffered leg injuries.

The console outputs info about calories, time, distance and speed, it has a knob for resistance adjusting and the high momentum fan blades act as a cooling fan. The frame has 1 year warranty, the spare parts 90 days and assembling it takes no more than one hour.

Body Rider BRD2000 – Price and Funtionality

The two in one body rider device comes at a highly affordable price, it provides basic elliptical trainer and stationary bike functionality and nothing more but it does a good job. There are no complaints about it, maybe that it lacks additional features like a heart rate monitor but we cannot be too demanding with a budget under $200.

I have tried an elliptical trainer before and they can be very difficult and they will work you out that is for sure. This one looks very basic and that is sometimes what you need, to many people get caught up in the bells and whistles of an item and not what it does. The best exercises have been found to be weight lifting and basic push-ups and crunches, so basic is good.

  2. Judith says:

These are great but I was actually looking for an elliptical trainer that I have seen on TV that is sponsored by Biggest Loser and it has wheels like a scooter so you can actually travel with it like a bicycle or something but to get it moving is the elliptical motion that your legs do. They are extremely expensive but I would love to have one if they are still available.

  3. Wayne says:

This is very cool and I like how it can be either one, a note pad or a computer with a keyboard. You mentioned that is was smaller than normal but still comfortable to type on. This is a very good idea especially for that business owner that is always on the go. Used to a laptop was the best but this is smaller and lighter weight.

  4. Danita says:

If you are someone that does a lot of traveling and needs a computer to go with you this would be the ultimate in that capability because you could choose to travel with out the keyboard making it even lighter weight and easy to use on the go. Great article thank you for posting it so the information is ouit there, have they been released to the public yet?

  5. Janis says:

This exercise machine scertainly looks like it is a high quality cardio machine. I like the fact that you can get an upper and lower body workout at the same time or separately – one or the other . It really looks good , but especially when you do not want to put too much stress on your legs by running or cycling all of the time. That is why I like also doing Yoga.

  6. Jacqueline says:

This but she really looks expensive and complicated. But that will we need that it is that we’re in very good for that exercising. I like a cardio machine that has different cycles and settings so that you can diversify your work out and have lots of varying options. That is why I like life cycles and this body Rider seems to me like it is a very good home version of the life cycle.

  7. Nilsa says:

Of all these exercise machines on this blog, the most peculiar machine is that of the Stamina 55-1610 In Motion E1000 Elliptical Trainer. This thing looks more like a unicycle than an exercise machine. In fact, just at first glance, it is difficult to fathom how you are supposed to benefit from this contraption. It looks next to impossible to stand on simply because there’s nothing to hold on to. It’s as if you have to keep your balance.

  8. Sharon says:

I like the fact that these different exercise machines offer many controls and menus. I would think that anybody who has been doing cardiovascular work for some time understands that you burn twice the body fat when you implement high intensity intervals into your workout session. This means that you should have one minute intervals of anaerobic pushes such as an uphill elevation on a treadmill or an increase in pedal resistance on a life cycle.

  10. Ronald says:

I’d love to have one of these, my brother has one and I use it every time I go over there, which is not that much so it kicks my butt every time, no matter what shape I think I am in. Some of these can be rather expensive though so I am glad that you posted a large selection of them. The prices vary widely so I’m going to have to do some research.

  11. Andrew says:

Nilsa, I think the one you are referring to is supposed to work you legs and things while you sit down. I am not sure but if you have the rest of them with handles to work out the upper body as well I don’t see how they could imagine that you could use one of these with out some kind of handle so that was the only conclusion I could come to.

  12. Francisco says:

Wow the prices on some of these is a bit steep aren’t they? I have been trying to talk my brother out of his because he doesn’t exercise much and neither does his wife so why let it collect dust when I could use it to make my life a lot easier. They know that I have been on this diet and exercise program for years now so I don’t see why they won’t let me have it.

  13. Jesse says:

The one that you have on there first with no handles or anything is one that you use while you are sitting down right? I would hope that if that is the case that is on the box in big bold letters , “for seated purposes only because someone is going to try it standing and really hurt themselves.

  14. Scott says:

I would say that while the Stamina 55-1610 can save you from risk of injury from the impact that jogging puts on your joints, the bigger risk is falling off this weird looking contraption that resembles some sort of evil transformer cybernetic organism. How on earth do you keep your balance? I don’t doubt that I could because I am athletic and I have a great center of balance, but most people aren’t very coordinated.

  15. Melinda says:

I have to admit that I have never seen an elliptical trainer that could be a bike as well. It would seem to me that the pedals move differently then a bike and it wouldn’t be that easy to keep them moving like it would if you were standing on it. If you were to lose balance would the seat pose a threat to injury?

  16. Julia says:

That is a completely different concept I have to say. An elliptical with a seat on it looks like it could be some what dangerous as well as somewhat easier to work out on. I guess in anything that has to do with exercise you have to take your good with the bad right. Thank you for posting this though I would have never known that this existed had I not seen this post.

  17. Anita says:

Thank you for posting all of the information that you did on all of those elliptical. This will make shopping for one and comparing them and their prices a lot easier to do. You have done all the leg work for me and I really appreciate it. Great job keep up the good work.

  18. Walter says:

These cross trainers or ski and step climbing machines have come a long way since the first one I ever saw on an infomercial. Does anyone remember the Norditrack? I wonder what ever happened to that brand. It would not surprise me to learn that the makers of that machine went on to create these newer generations of step climbers and slapped a new brand name on it. Most auto makers tend to use that strategy.

  19. Daniel says:

Does the Stamina 55-1610 In Motion E1000 trainer move in as big a motion as the regular elliptical? I would think with out the handles to hold onto that it wouldn’t because it is hard enough to keep balanced on the one with handles let alone something without. I would have never imagined that they would make one of these with out handles.

  20. Romeo says:

I do not really need the upper body handles on my life cycle. All I want is an affordable, cycle which has a computer that has several types of workout cycles such as, random, mountain climb and other types of preprogrammed cycles. That is what the commercial grade (expensive) life cycles have in the major gym chains. So If I can find a durable cycle that won’t get broken easily, I might consider buying it.
